Gasket Installation
Most gaskets are supplied with instruction manuals, as well as the equipment on which they are installed. The installation instructions must be followed to ensure proper installation and to avoid "invalid" device warranty.
In general, the step of attaching the gasket comprises:
Remove the surrounding components
Facial cleaning
Facial examination
Alignment check
Check old and new washers
Gasket installation
Lubrication of bolts
Tighten the bolts
Equipment testing
Remember, do not skim or cut corners when selecting and installing gaskets. Spending time and money to properly replace a series of gaskets is much cheaper than having to turn off and replace only the incorrectly selected or installed pads。
