THE SHUTOFF VALVES CERTIFIED TO AWWA STANDARDS

The Shutoff Valve Product Line consists of Plug Valves, Butterfly Valves, and AWWA Resilient Seated Ball Valves. The Plug Valves feature a fully encapsulated plug, welded nickel seat, Grit Guard seals to protect the valve shaft, bearings and seals, V-Type packing, and Packing Overload Protection shims to protect packing from being overloaded during adjustment. The Butterfly Valve features a ductile iron disc for added strength, allowing the disc to have a smaller cross section and provide improved head loss characteristics. The Ball Valve features the advantages of a standard fusion bonded epoxy interior and exterior coating, and when fully open provides 100 percent flow area equal to the pipe size. Both the Butterfly and the Ball Valve feature the unique Tri-Loc Seat Retention System, assuring seat integrity and allowing for adjustment or replacement in the field. All the Shutoff Valves are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with AWWA Standards.
